Want to learn cms?
There is a great wealth of educational material freely available online. There is a collection of links related to such sites as well as other web programming resources at:

C(ontent) M(anagement) S(ystem) provides a mean to separate the structure of a website from its content. This allows content owners, usually business people, to manage their part - content - separately from the framework of CSS, HTML, JavaScript etc. The way the website looks and acts is up to the programmers. What information is offered is up to the people who know the needed business content not the technical side of web programming. Usually, this is accomplished with some sort of database from which the content is retrieved and added to the web page on the server prior to being sent to the client.
Reply:I always say to people asking this question not to bother spending money on a course as there is enough free info out there on the web.

CMS is not a subject, it is a type of software and there are many implementations. You could just set up a version of Joomla (a popular CMS) and try making websites with it.

I would suggest learning PHP and MySQL and learn how to build your own CMS. I have a CMS I use for most websites I construct, I built it on PHP and MySQL, you will need to learn quite a lot bt as I said the information is all out there on the web!

Good luck
