My Computer constantly restarts?

Out of no where my computer will restart while im in the middle of something..especially watching a video on youtube or something.

i ran an error report and found that these where the problems

C:\DOCUME~1\OWNER~1.YOU\LOCALS~1\Temp\...

C:\DOCUME~1\OWNER~1.YOU\LOCALS~1\Temp\...

HOW DO I FIX THIS???

My Computer constantly restarts?
Could be a PSU or overheating issue.

Since you found an error , it's probely the error.

google "HijackThis" , download and save on desktop.

Restart , and constantly hit f5 untill the option to go into safe mode comes up.

Go into safe mode , do a virus scan , spyware scan , and run Hijack This.

Also , deleting any files in your history and temp files will help.

(In IE , just go in the tools menu option , general tab , delete all)

hope this helps.

Reply:The messages you receive, in a message Box from Windows, that suddenly appears, is Microsoft ( a built-in error file to Windows). They want you to send this Info to MSN site for appraisal. If you dont send, the message and the Log file are deleted, automatically.

WHATS the 'problem"? To run the particular program you are in, may require a System File from Windows (C:\Windows\System32 sub-folder) that may possibly be corrupted, or a Program you installed, may have written over

an important and neceesary System32 file for Windows itself.

From the Command prompt.. type SFC and follow instructions..you need to have the original Windows cd install disk on hand.

HOWEVER, it is MORE likely that your VIDEOCard (display)

whether built-in or a PCI/AGP type IS faulty.

Test this: From StartMenu/Run type in DXDIAG and in that Screen of DIRECTX version..test the 3D acceleration etc.

IF in any test, the PC freezes, or goes slow, the Card is the problem. (Note" that if the card is faulty, during this Test, the PC may, not just turn off, but it might restart again, BUT it could just simply Freeze. Requiring you to restart the PC.

When installing Windows and the Driver for the Card, the Files for the Driver may have been incompatible for Windows, especially if its XP.(they may have been 98/ME/2000 driver files)\IF it was the CPU faulty in any way, it is MORE likely the PC would have FROZE and NOT Re-started ATALL.
Reply:This happened to me. If your computer keeps restarting than that can be a couple of things. Most likely your graphics card is not getting enough power. So, open up your computer and read the side of your power box. See how many amps it has. Then look and see how much power your graphics card needs. If your graphics card needs more power than your power box can give than go and buy another power box with more VOLTAGE! Or on the other hand, your mother board might not be able to handle your graphics card. OR the tempurature of your computer is too hot, but if it was you would hear your computer beeping loudly.
