I am going to be designing a website for my guild, Gods of Rock, Bronzebeard euro, and obviously as the guild name suggested, its a guild for lovers of rock.
Guild on armoury:

My question(s) are as follows:
1. What would you suggest to be a good song to complement both WoW itself and rock music?
2. Does anyone know of any .com/.co.uk providers that offer a free server we can host the website on?
3. Finally, how can i get the guild roster information e.t.c onto my website automatically, i have looked on other guild sites and its looks so automatic?
Much appreciated,
tom

World of warcraft guild site help?
A lot of WoW guilds use guildportal.com mainly for its ease of use so I'd suggest that to anybody who isn't particularly tech savvy. My guild uses a customized web forum since we've got a guy who does that sort of thing professionally to manage it.
Most, if not all guild sites I've seen require that the individual members somehow upload their data. In most cases it requires manual entry but there are mods that auto-compile data. From what I've heard though some of these are less than trustworthy and I can't recommend any given one off the top of my head. My guild uses manual entry.
For the song you should use "The Dawn Of Battle" by Manowar since an earlier question made me think of it.
Reply:In the Guild Relations forum of the WoW site, there is a thread stickied regarding how to create a good guild website and DKP system as well.

Reply:1. Last Man Standing by Bon Jovi
2. My guild uses www.guildlaunch.com (www.seraphim-guild.net)
3. There are a few ways. some sites, like guildlaunch have a built-in system another way is to use an updater, like GuildProfiler.
