System recouvered from serious error !!?

I run WIndows XP and I got the message


'System has recovered from a serious error and below is the log.


Can anyone tell what might have gone wrong ? and what action should I take ?

Sounds like you have downloaded something with a virus and your anti virus had to deal with it. Have you been on p2p such as limewire?
Reply:This looks like a scanner document storage folder. The 'system' is not the operating system in any case. Any serious operating system error would not point to a log under a folder called Docume...\locals...\Temp\WER3...





So the action that you need to take is to look up what program uses this folder path and read the instruction manual or look it up on line.
Reply:Great question by the way. Hope this helps a lot of others at the same time. You MUST occasionally delete all of the old temp files (which that is) and the old cookies as well, as they're no longer needed and can even cause problems as you've found out. Do a "Disk Cleanup" by clicking on Start, programs, Accessories, system tools, and then Disk Cleanup. If this doesnt fix the problem, let me know and i'll help you until the problem is solved.
